QTS Press Release Release Date: June 19, 2006 QTS Participating in Windows Vista Technology Adoption Program (Morris Plains, NJ) June 19, 2006 Quality Technology Solutions, Inc. (QTS) today announced that it is participating, along with several QTS customers, in Microsoft's Technology Adoption Program ("TAP") for Windows Vista. Under the Vista TAP program, Microsoft customers are actively beta testing Windows Vista, the next release of the Windows operating system, to identify potential problems and compatibility issues so they can be resolved prior to commercial release of the product. QTS is providing project management services and coordinating efforts with its customers and Microsoft, as well as assist with testing and with preparation of methodology and infrastructure for automated deployment of Windows Vista to the organization's computers. QTS' deployment efforts are leveraging Microsoft's Business Desktop Deployment Solution Accelerator technology (www.microsoft.com/desktopdeploy). As part of the TAP program, participating QTS' customers will deploy Windows Vista to a significant percentage of their production systems following finalization of the product code and release to manufacturing ("RTM") of Vista code, prior to commercial shipment of the product. QTS and those customers will participate with Microsoft in promotional and media events during the Windows Vista product launch, including preparing case studies and other communications. "We're pleased to have the opportunity to work with some of our key customers and Microsoft in this initiative," noted QTS President and CEO Neil Rosenberg. "Vista is a critical release of the Windows operating system for Microsoft and its customers, and we're looking forward to helping Microsoft refine the product and ensuring it is as compatible, reliable and secure as possible." "Windows Vista represents a strategic opportunity for us," according to Nick Garbidakis, CIO of American Bible Society in New York, NY, a QTS customer participating in the program. "Security is a paramount concern to us, and Windows Vista offers many enhancements around security, reliability and performance. We like what we have seen, and are looking forward to deploying Windows Vista on our network, with QTS' assistance." "QTS' relationship with Microsoft extends well beyond deploying our products," noted Jemima Gaussaint, Microsoft's SMS&P Partner Account Manager for New Jersey. "They provide feedback to our executives, they work with our product groups to improve product quality, work with us in developing joint campaigns and initiatives, and engage closely with us to help us partner with our customers and provide real solutions to their business problems. QTS' teamwork in working with Microsoft, locally and nationally, is exceptional." Microsoft is targeting commercial release of Windows Vista and the next release of Office for the fall of 2006. QTS and Microsoft conducted a series of seminars in the Spring to help educate customers on these new products and how to streamline deployment of them across the business. This series will be repeated in the Fall. See www.QTSnet.com/events for QTS' event schedule, or contact your QTS Account Manager for more information.
