QTS Wins "Winning Customers" Award at Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference for 2nd Year in a Row

(Morris Plains, NJ) August 29, 2005 � Quality Technology Solutions, Inc. (QTS) and Microsoft today announced that QTS has won the Regional Winning Customer Award for outstanding competitive efforts in the United States.  QTS was chosen out of a field of top Microsoft Partners within the U.S. for delivering market-leading solutions that highlight the benefits of working on the Microsoft platform.

"We're obviously very pleased to be selected by Microsoft for this highly exclusive award," noted QTS' President and CEO Neil Rosenberg.  "It is an honor to be recognized in this way by Microsoft, for the hard work our team has done migrating customers to Active Directory and Exchange."  This is the second year in a row QTS has been selected as a winner of this Award - in 2004, QTS won this award for development of the Systems Strategy Check-Up engagement, which was expanded nationally by Microsoft into a partner program best practice.

QTS was recognized for its successful implementation of a Microsoft-based solution, versus utilizing the technology of other vendors, that resulted in significant benefits to customers.  Award winners were required to have implemented solutions involving successful migrations, custom software development or completing customer upgrades that leverage Microsoft technology.  QTS won this year�s award by expertly developing customer solutions that exemplify the benefit of working on the Microsoft platform rather than those of other technology vendors.

QTS' QuikDesign Active Directory Design service was the solution that won the award.  QuikDesign is a collaborative service offering that allows QTS and the customer to jointly develop an optimal design for Active Directory and Exchange, based on Microsoft best practices.  The approach leverages QTS' expertise around the products and its experience deploying the technologies in a broad range of customer environments, combined with the customers' knowledge of their own business, their network, their applications and their users.  The collaborative process has allowed a wide range of business to smoothly make the move to Active Directory, Windows Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2003.

The Microsoft Partner Program Awards recognize Microsoft Partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the past year. Multiple awards are distributed in four categories: Partner of the Year for Technology Innovation, Partner of the Year for Sales and Marketing, the Specialization Excellence Awards and the Microsoft Initiative Awards, which also includes the Customer Experience Award.
