(QTS) today announced that it has become a Certified Partner of Rainfinity, developer of high availability software, RainWall and RainConnect.  The partnership will offer end-users with reliable and optimized firewall and Internet connections.

RainWall allows multiple firewalls to work together as one, providing load balancing and automatic failover.  The software provides clustering functionality for Microsoft ISA Server 2000 and 2004 for Check Point's FireWall-1/VPN-1 platform, and is used as the OEM component of Symantec's high-availability offering for its firewalls.

RainConnect enables traffic to be load balanced and dynamically re-routed, inbound and outbound and across multiple Internet circuits.  This allows low-bandwidth lines such as DSL to be used to back up primary Internet connections.
