Quality Technology Solutions, Inc. (?QTS?) and Microsoft today announced that QTS was a winner of the Winning Customers award at the 2004 Worldwide Partner Conference. The awards recognize Microsoft Certified Partners that delivered exemplary solutions for their customers during the past year. Award winners were chosen from a group of finalists from around the world. Winners were announced at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, Microsoft's premier annual event for industry partners, held this year in Toronto.?Even among so many stellar nominees, QTS truly
distinguished itself in the Winning Customers award category,? said Allison

all the makings of an outstanding Microsoft partner: a deep understanding of
technology, proven expertise in the medium business market space, and a passion
for building solutions that solve its customers? business problems in an
innovative way. It is truly an honor to recognize QTS' outstanding command of
Microsoft technologies.? "This is a major achievement for QTS, and it reflects the close working relationship we have with Microsoft both at a local and corporate level," noted QTS' President and CEO Neil Rosenberg. "Considering the exclusive nature of these awards, we're extremely proud of our accomplishment." QTS received the award based on its work in developing the Systems Strategy Check-Up initiative with the Microsoft NYNJ District team, in an effort to drive enhanced customer satisfaction for mutual medium business customers. The SSCU initiative started as a pilot program but was so successful that it was subsequently rolled out across the Eastern US, then across the entire United States. "We're very pleased that QTS was recognized for its work creating the SSCU, which has been a major part of our customer satisfaction strategy this year," noted Alejandra Calatayud, General Manager of the NY/NJ Small & Mid-Market Solutions and Partners Division at Microsoft. "As our go-to Medium Business partner around networking and security in the NYNJ District, QTS plays a very strategic role for Microsoft, and we're looking forward to even more collaboration to create greater customer satisfaction." One of the first Microsoft customers QTS performed an SSCU for was Burns and Roe, a full-service engineering, construction, operations and maintenance firm headquartered in Oradell, New Jersey. According to Wayne Uffleman, the Information Technology Director, "The Systems Strategy Check-Up provided by QTS and Microsoft provided us with a number of benefits. By facilitating an open discussion around our goals, we were able to identify "low hanging fruit" that helped us refocus our priorities and complete some key initiatives. It also gave our upper management a quick assessment of our current IT infrastructure, and reinforced the need for funding some 2004 IT initiatives." Another early SSCU participant was one of New Jersey's leading accounting and professional service firms, J.H. Cohn in Roseland, New Jersey. According to Freddy Delacruz, Network Manager for J.H. Cohn, "QTS gave us an excellent summation of our environment, and cited areas where we can strategically and tactically improve the network, while reinforcing the many good things we had already done. They analyzed everything - servers, systems management, security and desktop software and staff productivity tools. All in all, this was a great exercise that I'd highly recommend for Microsoft shops to participate in."
