(Morris Plains, NJ) March 15, 2004 – QTS announced today it will be exhibiting at Microsoft's Security Summit event in New York City on April 6th and 7th.  The event will be held at the Marriott Marquis, with identical sessions on each of the two days, and QTS will have a booth in the Partner Pavillion section.

"As our only Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Security Solutions in the NY/NJ District, it is very important to Microsoft that QTS be at this event," noted Sarah Steiger, Sales Manager in the NY/NJ Small & Mid-Market Solutions and Partners Division at Microsoft.  "Educating Microsoft's customers about Information Security best practices, as well as Microsoft's products and capabilities, is very important to us, especially in today's world of highly connected systems.  QTS has played a major role over the last few years in helping to get this message across to our customers in New Jersey and New York."

QTS President and CEO Neil Rosenberg noted that the event is an important part of Microsoft's security message.  "Microsoft has made a significant number of investments in the security space, offering its customers education, free tools and best practices documentation to help customers secure their networks and increase security awareness.  Events like this help customers focus on the important issues around security - not just the technologies, but the people and process elements as well," noted Rosenberg, who is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.

The event runs from 8:30am to 4pm and has three tracks - one to introduce IT staff to security issues and management strategies, one for more senior IT security professionals, and one for software application developers.  The Partner Pavillion where QTS will be exhibiting will be open from 7:30am to 3:00pm.
