QTS Press Release Release Date: November 10, 2003 QTS and RightFax to offer Discounted Bundle to Small & Medium Business Market in NJ/NY; QTS Announces RightFax "QuikStart" (Morris Plains, NJ) November 10, 2003 QTS today announced that it has been selected by Captaris to offer a specialized "Mini Bundle" version of the popular RightFax product in the small and medium business market space in New Jersey and New York. Based on its strong focus in the SMB market space and its history with RightFax, QTS is the only Captaris reseller delivering this offering in the NJ/NY territory. "We're pleased to have had the opportunity to work with Captaris in developing this offering," noted QTS President Neil Rosenberg, who participated in developing the product. "We feel Captaris has hit a nerve here and now has a very competitive offering that will help small and medium business customers cost-justify purchase of what we feel is the strongest fax software solution on the market." "QTS was instrumental in helping us develop this pilot offering, which is currently being tested with a handful of partners nationally, including QTS for the New York metro region," noted Amy Howard, Channel Sales Manager for Captaris. "QTS' strong market focus, combined with their years of experience as a RightFax reseller and their consultative approach to working with their customers, makes them a perfect fit to deliver this offering." QTS has been a RightFax reseller since 1997, based on its strong history in the legal marketplace. The bundle consists of a two channel TruFax fax board and a special two port license for RightFax. Options include the Exchange gateway, and a technical support contract. Pricing of the base product bundle starts at $1,894. For customers who outgrow the solution, the purchase price can be re-applied to upgrade to the standard RightFax product suite. Concurrently, QTS announced a new offering under its QuikStart Knowledge Transfer Pilot Program - a QuikStart for RightFax. The offering allows for a one day engagement to deploy RightFax server into a customer's environment, on a customer-supplied dedicated Windows 2000 Server. The engagement includes installation and configuration as well as knowledge transfer and administrator training, but does not include customizations - which can be purchased on a time and materials basis thereafter. "The goal of the QuikStart is to get the server up and running, following best practices, so the business can start benefiting from the solution's ROI," noted Rosenberg. "There are a lot of things that can and usually need to be customized - cover pages, cost recovery integrations, specialized workflow and routing, etc. - and we can help the customer deal with all these options after the basic engagement." The QuikStart is a one day engagement priced at a fixed cost of $1,500, with additional customization available on a time and materials basis.
