(?QTS?) today announced its Fall 2001 Seminar Series, with a focus on Internet Security as the centerpiece of the educational events.  QTS will partner with Check Point Software Technologies, and several complementary QTS partners, to educate QTS' customers and prospective customers on the issues and opportunities with Internet Security.

"Internet Security is a huge issue and area of concern among businesses we speak with," noted Neil Rosenberg, President and CEO of QTS.  "There are a number of levels to Internet Security solutions, and our seminar series will show customers how to build a highly secure and manageable security infrastructure, either all at once or in stages."

The three events break down logically to present:

• How to protect your network with a firewall, and secure it from Intruders - Check Point Software will present on firewall security and explain the advantages of firewalls and stateful inspection over basic packet filtering, while QTS partner ISS will explain the fundamentals of Intrusion Detection and repelling attacks.

• How to build a secure VPN, and authenticate identity - Check Point Software will present on VPN design and solutions strategy, while QTS partner RSA Security will explain the fundamentals of Strong Authentication and how to manage digital identity.

• How to manage bandwidth and content over the Internet - Check Point Software will present on bandwidth management, including how to manage Service Level Agreements with your ISP, while QTS partner Aladdin will explain content management, including how to secure your network at the firewall from vandals, viruses and other hostile content, and how to manage inbound and outbound traffic by content.

QTS President Neil Rosenberg, a frequent speaker on Internet Security, will also present at each event to tie the presentations together into clear, actionable steps for customers' businesses.

The seminars will be held at QTS' offices in South Orange, NJ starting at 9:00 AM (8:30 registration/breakfast) and run to 12:00 noon.  The dates are September 20th (Firewall/Intrusion Detection), October 18th (VPN/Authentication) and November 15th (Bandwidth/Content Management).
