QTS' Winter/Spring 2010 Seminar
Schedule provides timely information to our customers and prospective
customers on new technology options that can help their businesses.
Please note that these events are open to QTS customers and prospective
customers (not consultants or competitive organizations) and some events
have restrictions on the number of attendees per organization, the role
of attendees, or the size of the organization attending.

Designing, Deploying and Optimizing SharePoint Solutions
Presented by
QTS, Microsoft and Citrix
Join Microsoft,
Citrix and QTS at this informative event focused on how to plan for,
implement and optimize the performance for Microsoft Office SharePoint
Server deployments. This educational seminar will describe the benefits of
SharePoint, and review how to effectively deploy solutions based on this
powerful technology. Citrix will present on how Citrix NetScaler and
Repeater/Branch Repeater can be used to enhance performance of SharePoint
environments. This event also includes a look into SharePoint Server
2010 and new features and enhancements to this upcoming release, as well as
Office 2010 and its integrations with SharePoint and key new feature areas.
We will also look at Microsoft's SharePoint Online offering, part of the
Business Productivity Online Suite ("BPOS").

CxO Seminar: Virtualization & Storage Management Strategies
for the 21st Century Network

ever-expanding storage needs and how to better manage servers and
applications through virtualization. This event will explore the benefits
of centralized storage using SAN and NAS technologies, including
technologies like iSCSI and Fibre Channel, and issues around backup and
archiving rapidly growing data. We will also discuss how virtualization can
be used to reduce the physical server footprint in your data center, and
explore the different offerings and architectures from VMware, Microsoft and
Citrix. Finally, we will present the joint Citrix-Microsoft Desktop
Virtualization solution, allowing for delivery of centrally managed desktop
computing as a virtualized service from the datacenter, and the numerous
benefits of this approach to deploying Windows 7.

archiving/capacity management. In this seminar, QTS,
Microsoft and Symantec will show you how our best practices, combined with
products such as Microsoft ForeFront Security products, Microsoft System
Center Operations Manager, Symantec Mail Security and Symantec Enterprise
Vault can be combined to create a secure, well-managed and highly reliable
email environment. We will also review new features and benefits of
Exchange 2010 and Office Communications Server 2007 R2, and solution

reducing costs while improving uptime and availability. Our event will
focus on how Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and
Microsoft System Center Operations Manager can help reduce
management costs and improve the efficiency and available time for your IT
staff, while increasing network uptime and speed in solving (or preventing)
problems. We will also review how System Center Virtual Machine
Manager can reduce management costs for both Microsoft Hyper-V and
mixed Microsoft/VMware environments, and how the newly released System
Center Service Manager can improve IT management through Change
Management, Incident Management (help desk), and Problem Management.
