Can you be a QTS Senior Systems Engineer? Join our fast growing technical team and implement advanced networking technologies in a wide range of client environments throughout New Jersey and New York. This position provides an opportunity to work with a broad range of Microsoft, Cisco, Symantec, Citrix and other vendors' technologies. Become a part of our high-energy technical team that's big enough to cross-train our staff and back each other up, but small enough that you can build close relationships with our diverse base of clients and make a difference, for us and for them. QTS is Microsoft's leading partner in the NYNJ mid-market space, and works very closely with Microsoft in marketing and new business development as well as service delivery. As an example, we are part of Microsoft's TAP-RD programs for Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista and Office 2007, helping select customers test and deploy beta versions of this software onto their network and build business solutions before the products are available to the public. We have also won numerous local and worldwide partner awards from Microsoft, and other partners. QTS also maintains close relationships with Citrix, Symantec, Cisco and other key partners to deliver a complete range of network solutions to our clients. We focus on partnering closely with our customers to plan how technology can help their business, and implement solutions working with the customer?s staff in a knowledge transfer capacity. By delivering leading edge solutions to our clients, we help give their businesses a competitive edge. You must have strong technical skills in multiplatform networking – primarily around Windows 2000/2003, plus multiple client platforms. MCSE 2003 technical certification is required for the Engineer position, additional certifications (Cisco, Citrix, Symantec, others) strongly preferred. Experience in Security Evaluation and/or Disaster Recovery Planning is highly desirable. 10+ years experience is required. You should enjoy working on a wide range of challenging technologies, and balancing a number of projects and clients. Area travel is required, in North/Central NJ and New York City. You’ll be working at a fast pace, learning new technology and helping our customers apply technology to improve their businesses.
