Can you be a QTS Account Executive? You must have prior success calling on mid-market (25-1000 employee) business decision makers in a competitive market, selling a quality product with a value proposition. You must have strong prospecting skills - this is a new business development position - and solid consultative and closing skills. You should also have some technical skills/aptitude, with strong willingness to learn QTS works with a LOT of technology, and youll be trained to be conversant with all of it. Existing knowledge of LANs and networking is required. You must have strong track record of performance and be goal-oriented. QTS is Microsoft's leading partner in the NYNJ mid-market space, and works very closely with Microsoft in marketing and new business development as well as service delivery. As an example, we are part of Microsoft's TAP-RD programs for Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista and Office 2007, helping select customers test and deploy beta versions of this software onto their network and build business solutions before the products are available to the public. We have also won numerous local and worldwide partner awards from Microsoft, and other partners. QTS also maintains close relationships with Citrix, Symantec, Cisco and other key partners to deliver a complete range of network solutions to our clients. We focus on partnering closely with our customers to plan how technology can help their business, and implement solutions working with the customer?s staff in a knowledge transfer capacity.
