QTS
Solution Spotlight: Overview Microsoft System Center Operations Manager is a network management technology that helps IT organizations to proactively manage their servers and IT assets, and maximize uptime. Operations Manager consists of a management console, and management agents that can be installed on Windows Servers (and through third party add-ons, on other platforms as well). The console collects information from managed servers and consolidates the information into reports and views, while also providing correlation between problems and a knowledge base of recommended resolutions and action steps. Operations Manager also allows for setting thresholds and alarms - for example, when servers go above a certain level of processor utilization for a specified period of time. QTS offers a QuikStart for Operations Manager, to help customers rapidly deploy this technology while concurrently transferring knowledge for ongoing management. This five day engagement allows for implementation of MOM, training of IT support personnel in its use, and follow-up to ensure the system is working properly and being utilized properly. Key
